About Us
Meet Scott & Bailey
Two Different Paths. One Shared Way of Caring.
Pawzitive Vibez did not begin with a grooming van.
Scott was born and raised in New York City, and his path to professional pet care took a few turns before he found the work that would stick. After moving to Los Angeles, he was exposed to the music industry and became interested in the business and creative side of it. That eventually led him to launch his own clothing line, an experience that taught him what it meant to take an idea, build something around it, and figure things out as he went.
Then, in 2014, something different happened.
Scott began professionally dog walking and pet sitting in Los Angeles. What started as work quickly grew through referrals, relationships, and reputation. He began caring for dogs in Beverly Hills and surrounding areas, often for clients who trusted him not only with their animals, but with access to their homes and lives while they traveled. There were no apps or rotating caregivers behind those relationships. Trust was the currency, and Scott learned early never to take that kind of responsibility lightly.
The more time he spent with dogs, the more he wanted to understand them. Their behavior, nutrition, routines, personalities, and the little signals that tell you what an animal needs before they have any way of telling you themselves.
The creative ventures had been things Scott pursued. Working with animals felt different. It became something he genuinely wanted to keep doing.
More than a decade later, he still is.
Bailey’s Story Started Differently
Bailey is a Dallas native, and her path into pet care was almost the opposite.
Her first real job out of high school was working with dogs as a bather at PetSmart. What could have simply been a first job became her first career. She stayed with it, learned grooming, developed a sharp eye for detail, and gained the kind of understanding that only comes from working hands-on with dogs day after day.
It is also where she met Scott.
The salon manager had an idea: put the quietest person in the room next to the loudest one and maybe Scott would calm down.
It did not work.
Instead, Bailey started coming out of her shell.
As they worked side by side, they became friends, then something more, and eventually their conversations started changing. They were no longer just talking about getting through another day in corporate grooming. They were talking about what it might look like to leave and build something of their own.
Building Pawzitive Vibez
In 2023, those conversations became Pawzitive Vibez.
We purchased our first mobile grooming van and started building the kind of pet-care business we had talked about while working next to each other.
Even the van reflected both of us. Blue and pink, playful graphics, plenty of personality, and even a little character inspired by Ash, Scott’s longtime dog who had been with him since his Los Angeles years.
But Bailey’s commitment to Pawzitive Vibez went much deeper than helping shape how the brand looked.
Bailey is a saver by nature. Taking a significant amount of money she had carefully put away and investing it into our first van was not a small decision. There was no guarantee Pawzitive Vibez would work. She believed in what we were building anyway.
Within six months, our books were full.
Today, Pawzitive Vibez has grown to include both one-on-one mobile grooming and in-home pet sitting, bringing Scott, in some ways, back to where his professional life with animals began in Los Angeles.
Different services, same philosophy.
Know the pet. Pay attention. Build trust. And care for the animal in front of you.
Experience Backed by Education
The personal side of what we do is supported by serious professional education.
Scott’s training includes certification as a Master Pet Aesthetician, Certified Animal Aromatherapist, Certified Professional Pet Sitter, and CPCR Certified, along with membership in Pet Sitters International.
By the time Scott began professional grooming, he had already spent years working with dogs. The technical side of grooming was new. Understanding behavior was not. Years of dog walking and pet sitting had already taught him how to read dogs, notice stress, and adjust his approach based on the animal in front of him.
That experience has since been strengthened through advanced education in skin and coat care, product and ingredient selection, animal aromatherapy, professional pet sitting, safety, and emergency response.
Bailey brings years of professional grooming experience, patience, consistency, and an intuitive understanding of how dogs respond throughout an appointment. The first job she took working with animals became a career, then a business she helped build from the ground up.
Our backgrounds are different, but the belief underneath the work is the same.
Care for the pet in front of you, not simply the one who came before them.
Growing With Us
Pawzitive Vibez continues to grow with us.
The creative and entrepreneurial side of Scott’s life did not disappear when he found professional pet care. Over time, it found its way back into what we were building together.
That eventually became PV Home, with Bailey as co-founder.
Scott had experimented with candle making years earlier, but it was Bailey who later suggested returning to the idea. What began as a conversation between the two of us eventually grew into another expression of the Pawzitive Vibez world.
Mobile grooming, pet sitting, and home fragrance might look very different from the outside, but to us the connection has always felt natural.
They all come back to pets, people, home, comfort, and the small details that shape how something feels.
Still Personal
As Pawzitive Vibez grows, there is one thing we never want it to lose.
The personal part.
We like knowing our clients. We like knowing their pets.
We remember who needs an extra minute before getting started, who would rather we leave their feet alone for a moment, who is getting older and needs a little more support, who comes running when they recognize us, and who would prefer to watch us from across the room until they decide we are okay.
Those details matter to us.
For us, that relationship is the whole point.
We want you to trust the people caring for your pets, and we want your pets to know they can trust us too.
What Guides Our Care
Familiarity Matters
Dogs do better when they know who is caring for them. We build consistency over time so each appointment feels more familiar.
We Pay Attention
We notice changes in skin, coat, behavior, mobility, and comfort, and adjust the experience accordingly.
We Don’t Rush Dogs
Some dogs need more time, more patience, or a different approach. We let the dog in front of us guide the pace.
Trust Comes First
Our goal is to earn the confidence of both the dog and the person who loves them.
Professional Products
Chosen for Your Dog’s Skin, Coat, and Comfort
We do not use the same shampoo on every dog. Each product is selected based on your dog’s coat type, skin condition, age, sensitivities, and individual grooming needs.
Our professional product collection includes Iv San Bernard’s Italian skin-and-coat care systems, designed around proper skin management and different coat types, along with naturally focused formulas from Botaniqa and other trusted grooming brands.
